The color and pattern are pretty and fun. My daughter is 3 years old, and is around 40 pounds and over 3' tall, and the size 8 is a loose fit with room to grow. We just cuff the pants and sleeves. As noted in the description, these pajamas run a full size smaller, so I ordered a size up from what I normally purchase from Mochi Kids (6 years). The fabric is soft with some stretch. I think we'll get good use out of these.
